So this weekend was fun filled and i totally cleaned house! I completed about 4 things off my 101 in 1001 list (hurray!) -- I attended a tv taping, played wow with nicholas (he is a big nerd), rearranged my room (definitely time for some change), and went shopping for gifts for little kids for operation christmas child!
So Saturday evening, we got all dressed up with friends Mayra and Adam and we all went to the cnn heroes taping in Hollywood! I don't think I've ever seen so many famous people all together in real life! It was so cool! There was an extra special performance by Christina which was just okay. We saw Lucy Liu, Forest Whitaker, Kate Beckinsale (just beautiful!) Meg Ryan (love her!), Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel, and HUGH JACKMAN (sexiest man alive you know)
I think my favorite was definitely the performance by Alicia Keys (see picture below) and I was totally swooning when Jim Halpert (OFFICE!) came out! meh, I don't know his name in real life. He is just so cute. Anyway, the cnn heroes will air on Thanksgiving this Thursday. I won't spoil the surprise of who wins the hero of the year award since Mayra told me not to ;)
Ok, aside from the famous people, what cnn does to recognize these heros is really cool. I got pretty emotional at some parts when they showed the videos of what these people do. Phymean Noun offers children in Cambodia who work in trash fields a chance to go to school. I voted for her. Maria Ruiz crosses the border to Mexico several times a week to feed hundreds of people who have no food. Definitely be sure to check out the 2008 CNN Heroes: All Star Tribute.

Christina. meh. Mayra told me her friend from high school used to bodyguard for Christina and that she's a snob. But apparently Jessica Simpson is really nice. haha. So forget her.
