i've stumbled upon some really neat camera stores lately so i wanted to share the stores with you and it's been a while since i did a camera post. i love novelty cameras.

four corner store:
The Golden Half : Half Frame Camera, $50
This novelty camera takes double the images on a roll of film. Read an in depth review on the four corners dark blog. * image credit from four corners dark blog.

lomography.com:
diana mini, $60
the lovely diana camera now comes in mini! how cute is this?! according to the website, you can move from the format to the amazing Half-Frame: packing 72 shots onto one 35mm film! * image credit here.

urban outfitters cameras:
superheadz blackbird camera, $125
vintage-inspired 35mm twin-reflex camera by superheadz. Read an awesome review for the blackbird on four corners dark blog! See the gallery for images taken with the blackbird camera. note: urban is also currently selling polaroid film in collaboration with the impossible project! * image from blackbird gallery.

Digital Harinezumi Video Camera, $160
this camera has been carefully crafted to take digital images and videos that have the look and feel of vintage film (lens flare, vignetting and all). it's a surprise with what you get! inspired by the Super 8mm silent films of the '60s, this tiny camera can take 2 hours of footage and it measures only 3.5" long! See superheadz gallery for videos and stills taken with the harinezumi camera. * image from gallery.

well that's it! i hope you enjoy reading about these cameras as much as i did searching for fun cameras! be sure to check out these other neat sites i found:
80 film cameras for under $50 via epic edits.
toycamera.com
polapremium.com: a neat site that has many discontinued and rare cameras and film.

10 hello's:

  1. Those cameras are great! I have the golden half and I love how you can just toss it in your purse. Ive been having trouble finding a flash for it though, it needs to be tiny! And I love the diana but I rarely use it anymore because the film is so expensive- and expensive to get developed. Good for special occasions though.
I saw on your twitter that you got the blackbird, please post pictures when you get them developed!
