mewithoutYou - "the Fox, the Crow & the Cookie"
Encouraging thought: stop thinking and start feeling.
ReplyDeleteDanni,
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoy visiting your blog (it's one of my regulars and my faves!) because you share in my appreciation for the dainty, crafty, pretty, and whimsical things in life. :) My favorites about the winter season are as follows: scarves, coats, frozen cheeks, hot drinks to warm the frozen fingers, a good book and some jazz - that, or folk, a hand to hold, being in the company of loved ones, lights, staying warm under heavy blankets, hope, refreshment, new mercies every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
:)
Congrats on hitting 1000!
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite songs are "Seattle" and "Cry" by Jason Walker. So so so beautiful.
My favorite thing about winter is Christmas...Christmas carols, Christmas decorations, Christmas fun! Congratulations on your 1000!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on reaching 1000! I've really enjoyed your blog--there is always something inspiring and sweet. I've been wearing out the Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins CD lately...and am loving that the weather is finally cool enough that I don't have to sweat while drinking my cup of vanilla rose tea : )
ReplyDeletetoday i prayed that i could be nice to all the clients i'd interact with today. i stayed true to my goal and found the day was easier when i was intentionally trying to be nice.
ReplyDeletegive it a shot!
Congrats Danni!
ReplyDeleteI am cramming for two upcoming craft shows and I am about to pull my hair out...but on a happier note... I love your blog! =)
Hi Danni~ Congrats on being so inspiring to so many people! I always like your fresh fonts and the way you mix them up and your color combos too. You have an eye for things that go well together without "matching". Love that. =) I'm getting excited about Christmas already. I want to do a handmade tree- trimmed only with things I've made with my kids. I think it would be charming and memorable. And hopefully we'll actually pull it off! I hope you have some fun holiday inspiration for us too. I am putting some of your hairpins on my b-day list- which happens to be next month too. They're so sweet. Hope everything is okay for you today. =)
ReplyDeleteMy quote of the day: "Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want, and just see what happens."

My FAVORITE song right now is "Cave In" by Owl City. I sing it to the baby all the time! :]
Congratulations! Where do you buy your tape from? I've never been able to find the one with the tiny bows. Currently I can't stop listening to "I'm In Love With Your Rock and Roll" by Kish Mauve.

As a college student, I have to say the parts of winter I'm looking to most are our silly traditions. The annual North Quad vs South Quad snowball fight is a must-do, and there's nothing quite like stealing some trays from the dining hall for a bit of sledding.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog and have found many more I love through it. (like jessicajanehandmade and cakies)
I'm currently in love with a saying I saw somewhere that says:

ReplyDeleteyay congrats!!
ReplyDeletei have an interview tomorrow and i'm excited!
Wow, congratulations! My encouraging thought is more of a tip, but it helps me keep things in perspective: if something goes wrong, ask yourself, "Will this matter in ten minutes? Ten Hours? Ten days? Ten weeks? Ten years?" Ta-da, suddenly the problem seems much less serious!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! 1000 followers...very well deserved!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting excited because my family (mom, dad, and sister) are coming to visit me tomorrow! I live in Massachusetts (for college), and they live in Seattle. I stumbled across your blog, quite by accident, and am now obsessed. :) Let's see...I love the style of your work; it's beautiful in its simplicity. The title of your blog struck a chord with me--we can always be reminded that we are loved. So, by way of a long introduction, I thought my post would be about my own blog title:
ReplyDeleteLive.Love.Matter.
It's become somewhat of a personal motto for me. I discovered that lovely combination of words while browsing the greeting cards in a Whole Foods. I think that those three words can mean so much if you truly apply them to your life. So, live life with passion, strength, and self-awareness; love those around you who support you and return that love; make something of yourself and change this world for the better. Best wishes everyone!
Well everything is super cute, as always.
ReplyDeleteAnnd...this might not sound like exciting news to any, but I'M HOME I'M HOME I'M HOME! This is after being gone for three months straight, so it's the nicest feeling ever. I am waking up in my own bed everyday!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Can you give some advice to us beginners on how to generate such a loyal following?
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing about winter is snuggling up with Husband with a hot drink on a cold day — I can't wait to try my first gingerbread latte! :)
everyone complains when it starts getting dark early, but i secretly love it. it's cozy to settle in early with my family, to switch on the porch light and sit beside the wood stove playing games, eating dinner early. i guess i like hibernating!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the 1,000!
Winter is finally here! I love the sound of rain - and the smell. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou make me smile like the sun
ReplyDeleteFall out of bed, sing like bird
Dizzy in my head, spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Ohh, you make me smile
Uncle Kracker - Smile
I'm just a little bit obsessed with this song right now. So beautiful. My fingers are crossed for the win. Congratulations on hitting 1,000 followers! Definitely something to cheer about.
1000[+]....yipppeeeeeee!
ReplyDeleteThe absolute best thing about winter for me are the days right before and right after Christmas when work has slowed down and I can spend all my time with my family....completely guilt free....listening to Johnny Mathis holiday music, gazing at the tree and snacking on homemade sugar cookies.
It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year!!
Congrats!! Your blog is so lovely and such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteRight now I cannot stop listening to Billie Holiday. Something about her music and her voice makes me think about being somewhere warm and cozy on cold winter days.
Hello friend and congrats for 1000 followers!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite lyrics (esp.when I'm down) is from J.C.Superstar: 'Try not to get worried, try not to turn on to Problems that upset you, oh.
Don't you know Everything's alright, yes, everything's fine.
And we want you to sleep well tonight...'.
It's a nice song for Xmas and winter time as well!
PS: beautiful gifts - they show your neat taste!
What a great giveaway! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 1000 followers! :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the smell of snow coming... not necessarily the snow itself (unless I get to stay home!), and my house at night once my Christmas tree is up, the gentle glow from the lights. Just thinking about it makes me so happy!

ReplyDeleteI do so love getting up early when its still dark with my dog and taking a walk, and then we sneak back into bed and cuddle with my warm hubby. (who pretends to complain about my cold feet and our doxies cold nose, but lets us do it every morning anyway!)
ReplyDeletecongratulations on reaching 1000 followers! (even though I am sure their are many more who follow your lovely blog secretly)
ReplyDeleteI am fairly new to your blog, but it is one I check every day and I always come away so inspired!
For me in Australia the things I love about the upcoming Christmas season is summer, bare feet, delicious seafood, gourmet salads, bbq's and endless Beach days :)

Congrats!! 1000 is such an awesome milestone!
ReplyDeleteI just moved from NC to South GA to be near my family while my husband is in Afghanistan. I was reluctant to move just to be around my family's drama and stress, but I have to say, I am thankful to get to spend this short year with them. The military moves us alot so to have a small window where our lives are intertwined is such a blessing!
Here's to your continued blessings. Keep up the wonderful work! I love reading your blog!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the milestones! I came across a quote yesterday that I wrote down, and it seems fitting to share here. It's from Jean Shinoda Bolen: "When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life."

ReplyDeleteI'm ill at the moment and have been housebound for a little while so to entertain myself today I built a fort out of some floral bedsheets and pillows, I made an Autumn wreath from berries and twigs to hang on my door, and made vanilla buttermilk biscuits (to eat in my fort!)

I can't stop listening to the five new songs that were added to the platinum version of Taylor Swift's "Fearless" album. I love how you can just hear her growing up as new songs are released, and though she's younger than I am, she's quite the role model!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!!!! That is so exciting!! Hmmm..something going on in my life?? Oh, I'm having an awesome lunch of tuna today. Ha! That's about as exciting as things are lately!

ReplyDeleteI love your blog - it's one of my favs! Actually I think it was the first blog I started following many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the memories it provides. My husband I started dating in the winter (almost 10 yrs ago). As the days turn cold, the winter coats come out & the heat gets turned on in our home it rekindles the love (&lust - haha) that I have for that boy I met back in college that gave me butterflies everytime he looked at me (& still does)!
congratulations, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThe suns reflection on snow and fires.
ReplyDeleteGoodness Gracious! Good for you and all your followers!

Danni,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say how inspiring your blog has been to me through the past several months. You inspired me to take more care on packaging my own items prettily, more time on making cohesive design a feature of my Etsy shop, and more time telling my friends and family how thankful I am for them.
You are loved!
--Sarah
