so we just flew into orange county this morning after visiting nick's family in missouri. they got a snow storm! we were there at christmas time but there wasn't snow really... i'm sure many of you mid-east coasters are all too familiar with snow and icicles but having grown up in a city where it doesn't really ever get below 70 degrees, this was just about the coolest thing i've ever seen! something about a field covered in a white blanket of snow is so lovely. i learned all about scraping snow off your car and what real cold is ;)
anyway: just thought i'd post a quick note that oh, hello friend hit 2000 blogger followers today, hurray! so exciting.. thanks for all your support friends! xo.
Congrats! Someone just hit 1,000 today. Must be something in the air!

ReplyDeletei am a fan of your blog/shop & a missourian, glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. missouri ("misery") weather is frustrating at times, but just when you think you can't stand it another minute (cold and HOT weather) a beautiful snow fall or perfect summer evening or BEAUTIFUL green spring morning will remind you that change is just around the corner :)
congrats on 2000!
ReplyDeleteMmm, beautiful snowy pictures...and congrats on hitting 2000!! :)
ReplyDeletecongrats on hitting 2000, that is a great milestone achievement! i actually live in missouri and the snowstorm yesterday was NO fun to drive in! i almost got stuck just trying to get out of my neighborhood! glad to hear you got out safely! i think snow/ice is fun to be around for a little bit... but when it's like that basically all winter, it can get old and cold!
ReplyDeleteWow congrats! I love the snow... haha. It's snowing here right now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats... congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it my friend :)

Congrats on reaching 2,000 followers (am jealous+happy for you ;))!! I knew your blog was a keeper from the first time I saw it :)
ReplyDeleteThose pics pretty much sum up our winter, we have "mountains" and heaps and glaciers and perhaps a few penguins. I blogged a bunch of pics on iamthebee.blogspot right after an ice storm which took out a lot of trees, tree parts, and power lines and poles.
We are longing for warmer, sunny days (so I can walk the collies already).
Just gone through your blog and found it awesome. It was nice going through your blog. Keep it up the good work. Ihampers.co.uk

ReplyDeletelovely photos! Mind if I ask where the third one was taken? I live in Missouri and am all too familiar with snow and cold. The snow is pretty but it's the cold that makes me completely ready for spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteAwesome choice of pictures!
