ReplyDeleteWow you sure do have an impressive collection! I can only imagine all the little treasures you have in your place! My obsession is Babushka dolls :)
ReplyDeleteLovely little collection.
ReplyDeleteTo me, brass objects always look like they've been passed down generations. It's quite heartwarming in a way.
Love that little apple tray!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU - I've been looking for a little something to send my daughter as she completes her 1st first of Law School and those little brass scales were perfect. I just went and purchased them! Appreciate the assistance.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am a lurker who decided it was time to comment. My mother is a big fan of brass. In fact she has those exact swans, the box, and some critters that are very similar to those deer. They must have been pretty popular at one point in time.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you so much for featuring my little brass scales and thanks to Jeanette for purchasing them! They are adorable and I hope your daughter truly does love them. Thanks Danni for the feature!

I LOVE that miniature scale--the cutest thing ever! This reminds me that I need to invest more time into thrift/antique stores . . . I often forget or don't have the patience, but you can find so many treasures there . . .
ReplyDeleteLove the turtle!!!! Looks like it would fit in a mid cent room :)
ReplyDeleteYes I totally agree! I love little touches of brass, especially the little animal figurines (like those swans). I see these at my local flea markets and have to remind myself that my apartment isn't big enough to hold them all, lol.

ReplyDeletelove this post! although this does not help with my etsy addiction!
ReplyDeleteYa know I don't usually dig on gold or brass, I've always liked the brushed silver look, but I have these old nautical things like a harpoon (yes it IS awesome) a captains wheel and other things that are brass and I really like them. Its kind of a throwback to a much much older time. Not many things give that same vibe, so I really dig it. These are great finds. I'm glad I have no room for stuff otherwise I would buy it!
