maybe a month or few weeks before TIm left I tried to get him to build a fort with me in our living room. We were really bored and it sounded like an amazing idea, to me. He wasn't all about it, so it never happened. :(

Oh! I really really love forts. I haven't made one in forever, but I have many fond memories of taking over my grandmas lounge to make multi-roomed forts. :)

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite thing about some of these forts is the way the light shines through the tarps. I was a nanny and fort building was one of our favorite pastimes.

Great post! That takes me back to childhood. My sister and I loved building blanket forts too! I remember one time we built a mash tent. Since we both wanted to be the doctor, the only patient we could find was our poor cat Agnew. He tolerated us splinting and bandaging his leg!

Definitely brings back memories of all the blanket/sofa cushion houses I made as a child..under the desk, kitchen chairs, laundry hangers..

Wow!!! I absolutely love these pictures... I always used to build forts of chairs and blankets as a kid, I loved to have this little cave just for myself. And yes, why not re-build it again today :-)
