back in the day, whenever we had friends over i remember we'd pull out the good old futon. so when i came across these space saver beds from benign objects, i thought, how cool would it be to be able to just bust out one of these legit space saver beds out of the wall! the company, resource furniture, is located in new york. i like the styling of all their rooms too. a fun website to check out, lots of lovely furniture.
This is just what I need! I'm checking it out!
ReplyDeletewow, what a functional and creative use of space! btw, have you seen this?

it's a man's apt in hong kong that uses space to the maximum efficiency! i'm talking living room to bed to kitchen all in the same physical space... and moving walls too!
These are brilliant... I want one now =D!!!
ReplyDeleteamazing!
ReplyDeleteOh my! My favorite is the third. So stylish. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration! We're downsizing so using every space properly will be critical (as will getting rid of useless "why did I keep this" stuff).
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of my barbie fold away home and I can fold her bed up and away and turn it into a kitchen :)
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the idea of these beds..but I love my bed too much...i know I would never put it up..lol
but they're just soo awesome!
I don't know... ever since someone mentioned how common it is to find spiders in a hideaway bed, it just hasn't had the same charm since. :D
ReplyDeleteI think I might need something like that. But then again, I'm too lazy and the bed would probably be sitting in the same position for months, lol :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, lots of little San Francisco studio apartments have those Murphy beds that fold up into the wall. I think they're a great idea--super convenient--though I'm not sure I could trust myself to actually take the time (and strength) to put it back up in the wall everyday!!
ReplyDeletethese are great i always wanted one for myself! but it's hard to love these when you're later married and need a queen/king sized bed.
ReplyDeletelollibook's interpretation is brilliant!! so darling!
