wow, it's friday. the week totally flew by! i wish i had a time machine... if i did, i'd pause time and do all the things i want to do now but don't have enough time to do. i'd plan our entire wedding, then since everything would be ready, i'd just have the wedding tomorrow. ;) i'd go back in time and meet jesus. i'd want to see what it was like when jane austen lived too. hehe. i'd go back and spend time with my dear friend who passed away from cancer (next weekend would have been her 25th birthday) i'd go back and remember the first time nicholas and i met. and i'd go forward just to see what the future is like. what would you do if you had a time machine? ;)
well we are in milwaukee, wisconsin this weekend for a wedding, and in missouri visiting nick's family! i love the midwest: good bbq, good thrift stores, and good company. what more can a girl ask for? see you all next week! oh, and don't forget to enter the silhouette giveaway!
xo.
if i would have a time machine, i'd want actually freeze time to clean my apartment, finish up a book review, and complete all of my etsy orders.
ReplyDeleteif i went back in time, i'd want to meet my mom at 25, the same age as me.
happy friday, danni!
So sorry about your friend. I bet it would be so nice to see her.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a time machine I would probably see Jesus, then I would revisit my wedding day to do my hair and photography over again, then just forward and see just how cute my great grandkids will be.
Friday is a student's favorite day. That's a fact proven since God knows when.
ReplyDeleteThat's very interesting you know, to go back the time where Jesus was still human. Though it's dangerous if real. Just imagine the number of Christians who would like to see Him!
I don't think I'd want a time machine because I think I'd get too carried away going to the next big thing I want and miss out on all of the little things that make life so wonderful. But I DO wish I had a video camera for a memory! I wish I could remember every little detail of certain events like my graduation, baptism, mission trips and esp. my wedding!
ReplyDeleteA time machine in my hands will wreck havoc. I'd probably misuse it by going back and forth too many times! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI'd spend more time with my mum and let her know how much I love her, I'd revisit the first 10 years of my life just to refresh my memory.
Seeing Jesus would be wonderful but scary at the same time. Would I have as much faith as I do now having been able to read the words of the new testament?
Happy Friday!

I'd love to go back and meet the Apostle Paul. Ask him about Jesus, i would be too nervous to actually meet Jesus myself.
ReplyDeletetoo funny that I was in your neighborhood last weekend and now you are in mine :) Have fun in WI - I hope our weather cooperates with you.
ReplyDeleteOh and the time machine thing... I would go and meet Jesus too. I can't wait till I actually get to. :)
have a great time with nick's fam & at the wedding! hopefully see ya soon :]
ReplyDeleteif i had a time machine i would...never use it! don't get me wrong, i'd be tempted, but memories wouldn't be memories if we could go back to them whenever we wanted. and who wants to know what's happening in the future - so everything becomes predictable?
ReplyDeletewe'll be in milwaukee this weekend as well! heading there sunday to see the brewers play- my first game of the season!
ReplyDeleteit would be nice to travel forward to see what the future has in store for me! it would also be fun to travel back in time to meet some of my ancestors : )
I occasionally read your blog and come to find today that you're in Milwaukee, WI. My old stomping grounds. I got to a point where I was extremely unhappy there and moved to Columbus, OH! I do hope the wedding is fantastic though. Did they have it near the lake?

Oh! Welcome to Milwaukee! I hope you get a chance to visit a few of Milwaukee's best. Check out the Art Museum! Our fav restaurants are Coquette Cafe and Hinterland, both in the 3rd Ward. the 3rd Ward (just south of downtown) is a great place to stroll around on a weekend. although it is summerfest weekend, so hopefully you are in walking distance (terrible parking) or ask at your hotel if you are close to the trolley that takes you there (and to lots of other great MKE places!) And at least make sure to take a peek at my fav... Lake Michigan.
ReplyDeleteenjoy! :)
