what a LOVELY collection!! i am a HUGE fan of maps too! my flavors to follow tomorrow is about travel! i may include one of these or your giveaway this week in my collection! :)
Wonderful post. It is so nice to see such an ordinary object in a new light. It really makes you take notice to all the colors, patterns, and overall demeanor that maps can take on. It makes me want to start collecting!
I LOVE this collection as well! Lately I have been thinking a lot about maps/globes/spheres and nautical themes. I was on the fence about purchasing some small globes and this just might push me over the edge :)
oohh Maps.. Love it :) Sometimes I use maps to cover my canvas before painting and you can see between the paint and ink some parts of it. Maps make me happy
loved this. I adore maps and globes and loved all your collections. Although my mouth did drop when I saw the cute wallet with the rosette...oh. my. goodness!
Big map lover here. Have some framed in my house. I save the maps that come free with mag' subscriptions and use them to wrap gifts. I once got a map at a garage sale, it was from the 1600's and I sold it for $5,000! Paid $2. That's my great map story.
I love maps and I can't wait for my children to have a nursery full of maps to learn about the world. What's weird is that I cannot read a map to save my life. Horrible, right? GPS is useless to me unless I have someone telling me where to go, step by step.
Adorable images!!! Maps are something very interesting indeed!!! And it is something so cute when crafted!! :) Fantastic collection!! See you around, Danni! Your blog is lovely! I adore that moment at the end of the day when I receive your e-mail! :) Twiggs
how did you manage to find such a wonderful collection of maps...i'm so in love! maps are fabulous! a lot of my art has references to maps and i'm always looking for more inspiration. thanks!
Maps are one of my favourite things! I dream of one day having a room full of maps where I have pins on every place I have visited, and want to visit. And another where I have pins from cities that people have bought my stuff from on Etsy (I have to open an Etsy shop first! Haha.) and pins where people have visited my blog from. Then if I have my own store, I'll have people put a pin on their city when they come visit. :) It may not be a lot of pins, but that's okay! Thanks for this round up.
Friends, Thank you so much for reading + supporting my blog, and for taking the time to leave me a comment. Your comment support truly means so much to me. Have a lovely day! xo, danni
