i went camping many times as a child, and i'm a fan. it's a good time to get away from technology, from the everyday routine of life and get out in the wilderness and get some peace!
so when i stumbled across miss b's post about glamping, i immediately swooned over these fabulous pictures and this idea of luxury camping from the resort at paws up. if you're headed towards greenough montana, consider glamping it up at their resort or going old school in a tent. (a definite upgrade from sleeping bags and floor mats!) you'd definitely have to splurge as tents + resorts start at around $500/night. still a fun idea :)
oh my goodness!! i am going to hamilton, montana for work in a few weeks and it's only 1.5 hours away from this resort!! i'd love to go and check it out... although the price is a bit steep. :( lovely find! and i've learned a new word today ~glamping!
ReplyDeleteWow that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I must admit (although it's quite embarassing), I had watched an episode of Pretty Little Liars the other week, and they had a Glamping Party on that episode. I love the idea!
ReplyDeleteThis might be the only way I would ever go camping. WOw! talk about camping like a princess!
ReplyDeleteoh i never heard that term before! i want to go glamping!

I have always wanted to go glamping! What a unique experience to combine the outdoors and luxury. It would be such a fun getaway :)
ReplyDeleteI love glamping! Did a recent trip with my pals - we brought homemade cakes and Marc Jacobs wellies. Chose an inflatable mattress and comforter over a hard floor and sleeping bag. Watched the stars shoot and the sun rise. the MOST fun.

Oh. my. gooness. Living with all boys they are forever asking me to do things like camping with them. I think our next ourdoor sleeping adventute should be more like this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great concept! I'm gonna start a little savings to do this for my 5 year anniversary next year!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so relaxing. Maybe I do like camping! I wonder if they have air conditioning:)
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is my kind of camping! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Camping never looked so good! I was never one to enjoy camping, and even more so now that my aging body can't take the hard ground, but even I would enjoy this luxury!
ReplyDeleteI just read an article about glamping in Southern Living. They show the cutest pink, white, and green tent decorated with antiques at a place called The Martyn House for $180 a night :) I'm not much of a camper, but this sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks divine! I'm not much for camping, but this seems like it could actually be lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, by the way, and I know you'll be a beautiful bride.
Aaaahhh!! I want to go!!
ReplyDeleteDreamy with a capital D. Sign me up!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness i better start saving now!!!!
ReplyDeletej.
That's awesome! Exactly how I'd like to camp! :D
ReplyDeleteI heard about glamping from an episode of Pretty Little Liars. It seems like it would be very relaxing, but not as fun as real camping! :]

This seriously looks like the best escape for a honeymoon!! I wonder if they do any Glamping here in Israel...
ReplyDeleteHum... my mother would love this kind of camping but honestly, all that luxury takes all the fun out of the real experience. For me camping is all about carrying your tent on your back for miles, setting it up in the middle of nowhere, eating weird stuff, etc.
ReplyDeleteoooh, I love glamping. We have a big Moroccan tent in our olive grove in Marrakech. We sit on Moroccan carpets at low tables under lanterns and have dinner. The walls are painted with old Moroccan embroidery designs. So pretty!
ReplyDelete@GaliI have a suggestion for you, try to glam your own camp, it has all the great outdoors feel with the luxuries of home. I love tent camping, I bring my raised air bed and down quilt, I even bring a living room tent. It's great
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE This!!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is wow! That was really adoring!
