I don't have the best penmanship, actually my writing is more like chicken scratch. I would give anything to write like this! Maybe I will take a calligraphy class when I get back from the honeymoon. But I'm skeptical my writing can be better, it is pretty bad ;)
Calligraphy has such beautiful forms and shapes, it is such an art, don't you think? I've been so inspired by it lately, I thought I'd post a little collection! Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteWow, these are all amazing. It makes me want to snail mail more people. Hmmm, I think I will. Thank you for the inspiration. :)
ReplyDeletelove this! major sophisticated, eye-candy here!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a victim of horrible handwriting and I appreciate beautifully written words so much. I have tried but admitted defeat. I remember a teacher telling me what a wonderful student I was but then asked why I thought my handwriting was so poor. Don't know.
ReplyDeleteI work on my calligraphy on my spare time...lots of my friends, family, work...love my penmanship...always compliment how neat it is. But when I am in rush...forget it...even I can't read it.
ReplyDeleteOh I know. We had to learn calligraphy as part of our curriculum in 8th grade. It was painstaking but really fun and a skill I have to this day.
