One of my favorite classes in college was package design, we had an awesome teacher and the projects were super fun. I'd love to design product packaging all day long ;) I think product packaging is a really important element in design, what do you think? Here are some nice product package designs I found: most are candles/soaps -- they really have good design!
designed by yeongkeun via lovely package
Moulinette Soeurs Eau De Parfum at anthropologie

James Boyce via Cambria Cove

ReplyDeleteYes, yes! I often find myself checking out the packaging more than the product at many stores. :0) I worked in the package design industry for about 6 years before starting my own business, and it has definitely informed/inspired my own work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Danni for the nice words. I am so glad you enjoyed the classes. All my best to you and Nick this first holiday as husband and wife. You two look as happy as ever! Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI saw the ex libris candles at my local bookstore and wanted one so much, but can't burn anything in my apartment (university owned). :(
