Happy Monday Friends! How was your weekend? I wanted to let you know that weekly deals are in the works and will be starting soon as I gather shops together. We're calling them Good Cheer Deals and they will act as a replacement to the weekly giveaways! I actually wanted to get your feedback about this once more -- What sort of shops would you like to see featured with a weekly deal? How much of a discount would make it worth it you to buy? Did you participate in the 12 days of cheer? If you didn't, why not? Any feedback or suggestions would be great as I start to put this together! Thank you! PS: if you have a shop you'd like to be considered for the weekly deal, let me know!

    The most frustrating part was not being able to participate because i live in canada, there were so many deals i would have loved to buy, but they did not ship to canada, so including more "internationally friendly" shops would be awesome!

    i love the idea! i wasn't usually able to participate in the holiday deals because they were sold out by the time i got home and could check your blog - bummer!
    but i love the idea and if they are available for a 24-hr period or something, that would be great!
    i love all things paper and stationery.

    I will admit I was disappointed that the deals were not available to me because I live in Canada. So, I just didn't stop by during this time.

    I have a shop and whenever I have done a give-a-way or offer it is open to EVERYONE.

    Why?

    If I take your hard earned money that you are willing to spend in my store any other time-----even though you live in a different country---- than the least I can do is offer a give away that you are eligible for and pay the postage.

    This just makes good business sense to me and is really a very small token of appreciation to those who frequent our small businesses.

    I share this because I have had several "potential" customers and old customers comment that they appreciated this.

    ...and shop owenrs like to get deals too and shop from other small business owners!

    Items that can be shipped to Canada. Also, items that are not all the same. So a variety, that way something will hopefully suit everyones taste. Items ranging from jewellery to antiques to decor items :)

    Wow, you have lots of Canadian readers. :) Since no one else is commenting in this direction, just let me throw in that discounts of 15% or higher are what tempt me-- ideally, 20% or so. However, I'm also a sucker for free shipping-- I always feel like I'm getting a special deal when I don't have to factor in extra shipping to my total.

    I made 2 purchases during the 12 Days of Cheer--Japanese Tape and the Gift Packaging Set. I was happy with my purchases and the prices I paid. For possible future purchases, I would be most interested in paper products and craft-related items (like supplies or tools.) A good discount and/or free shipping would help entice me into making a purchase of an item I was interested in.

    I enjoyed the 12 Days of Cheer. It was fun to check each day to see what new item was being offered. I would like to see a new once-a-week special offered. I'd definitely check it out! It would be a fun way to discover new things people are offering for sale.

    I LOVED the 12 days of cheer- I purchased almost all of them! It was fun to purchase cute/unique things to keep on hand for gifts (or keep!). I love a good bargain- for me, I like to see at least a 40% or 50% discount. Thanks!
