Brittni here from papernstitch with this week's diy roundup. And guess what? Today, I have V-Day fever AGAIN. Yep, that's right. You may remember just two weeks ago, I did a Valentine's Day roundup right here on OHF. But there are so many amazing V-Day projects out there, I just had to share some more. So, let's get to it.
Get tied up in string with this string heart diy from Ohdeedoh (above). Use the finished hearts for a larger project, like a wreath, or simply make a handful and toss them in to a decorative bowl for a festive dining room table centerpiece.
Valentine's Day, more than any other holiday, is all about candy and other yummy sweets. So, if you're planning to get your sweetie some cupcakes (the best treat possible in my opinion), top them off with these heart cupcake toppers made of felt from The Knotty Bride.
And last but not least, my favorite idea of he week: needle felting on Design Sponge. Customize any gift with a personalized phrase or initials using a needle felting technique that is even easier than it looks. Add an "I love you" to a scarf or blanket and you have a custom gift that will keep you and your partner warm and toasty.
Are you crafting any projects for Valentine's Day this year?
Let me know in the comments!
