weekend in chinatown:

February 7, 2011

weekend in chinatown:
Nick & I spent our weekend at the LA Craft Experience, which was held during the Chinese New Year celebration in Chinatown! We didn't get to see much of the festivities but it was fun hanging out and eating from lots of the food trucks.

On Sunday before we headed back to the event, we went to Melrose Trading Post, which is held every Sunday in LA. They had a ton of stuff.. I got a duck gumball machine and a set of brass penguins for about $25.

My neighbor had really pretty succulents for sale.

pattywagon: yum!
Are food trucks big in your area? They've pretty much exploded in LA. They have a food truck for every food you can think of! I tried pattywagon hamburgers, it was the best mini burger I've ever had. Yum. I want one right now!

So that was my weekend, I totally forgot to take a picture of Nick & I together. How was your weekend? Be back tomorrow with more good cheer and regular posts. It's not too late to get the good cheer deal from K is for Calligraphy! It's open to international friends too! Happy Monday friends.
