diy with brittni:

Hey there. It's Brittni from papernstitch with another diy roundup to start your weekend off on a creative note. I've searched high and low this week to find the very best in diy just for you. So enjoy!

First up is a heartwarming postcard birthday poster from Jordan Ferney. There's more to this one than meets the eye. So, you'll have to visit Jordan's blog to grasp the full concept of this diy.
If you are a future bride or have a fancy party to attend, keep this tutorial on file for how to make your own birdcage veil. Pretty, huh?
Make a diy domino set and then play with a friend (or give the set away as a gift) with this tutorial from Aesthetic Outburst over on A Beautiful Mess.
If you're planning a party (or a wedding) this simple succulent place cards project might just be the perfect match.
And if you're a girl that just wants to have fun this weekend, make this A-Frame tent for an unforgettable, indoor slumber party.
Finally, if you're looking for a small project that won't take up too much of your precious Saturday and Sunday, try this upcycled lantern + vases idea. Fun to make and super easy to boot!
That's all for now. See you next time.

  1. Nice round-up! I'd seen some of these earlier, but completely forgot until this rejogged my memory. That tent is probably my favourite {Rubyellen is a genius!}

  4. That indoor tent is so pretty! I just saw a tutorial for making the actual fabric part in patchwork on a blog (lil blue boo) a few days ago and I've been in love with the idea since then. I just need an excuse and the supplies to build one :).

  7. Lovely post! That tent brought many memories of my sister and I indoor camping and having our "made up" parties late at night where we'd serve tea and fancy drinks to important people like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Great memories! Thank you! :)
