Here are some things I am swooning over in this new year of 2012.
What sort of things are you inspired by at this moment?
Vintage stamp packs via Send More Mail
Wit & Whistle's DIY Calendar Journal
(also inspired that Amanda finished her entire 12 by 2012 list!)
I got a really nice lens from my husband for Christmas and it made me think of this photo , haha. Just because I have a super-duper mega lens, doesn't mean I'm a photographer. and I don't think of myself as one by any means ;) via You are not a photographer
I love fonts! Especially free fonts.
Round up of fonts from Going Home to Roost via Birch + Bird pinterest
Man, I want a gold nugget! via Design Seeds (great color resource!)
Some lovely words to live by in 2012.

Swooning over these amazing birthday invites via Edyta Szyszlo
Photo a day challenge?! Yes please. Brilliant. Genius. I want to do it.
Amazing idea from Fat Mum Slim via Jen's Pin
Maybe I'll get a tattoo this year. via fyeahtattoos
Love each of those items you posted and the birthday invite is so cool! I will definitely be making invites with balloons one day!
ReplyDeletethese are especially wonderful today!! Love the 2012 mantra, may have to use it myself :)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing results of the photo a day challenge, so excited that you got a super fancy lens :)
Happy Wednesday
I love the tattoo.
ReplyDeleteAdore your inspiring posts. Keep 'em coming. :) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOh, I adore the balloon invitations! Thanks for including my stamps in your list of swoons!
ReplyDeleteI'd LOVE to see your photo a day challenge. I bet it will be great!
ReplyDeleteThose balloon invites are so clever! I would love to do something like that for my daughter's birthday party coming up.
ReplyDeleteAww, shucks, thanks Danni! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your finds! I am doing that photo challenge too and having a link up where everyone can share their photos! Link up at the end of the month if you want to share your pics!
ReplyDeleteSuch great inspiration! I made a similar calendar journal with index cards and cute dividers. I keep it in a berry container. :) I LOVE THOSE balloons! I'll be 30 next month so this may have to be done..... :) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI cannot agree more with that photographer statement! I have a nice camera, also, but I am not a photographer! It drives me crazy when people start a photography business after buying a nice camera..
ReplyDeleteooh this is an awesome roundup. love those fonts from bonnie! if you'd like something fun from my shop for reader appreciation (ie. items for a giveaway or a printable etc.) i'd love to share them... please feel free to email me: amy@thankyoucardsshop.com
ReplyDeleteHi Danni, your photographer statement is so-so-so true! Just because someone has the big camera doesn't mean he/she makes the big pictures (neither the other way round). btw - happy new year!
ReplyDeleteWhat am I inspired by? You! And your blog and posts on pretty packaging!! I stumbled upon your blog a few times before, but when I found you again last weekend, I seriously spent hours reading through posts and looking at your pretty photos! I'm working on a packaging re-design with my jewelry and have been so inspired by the wonderful ways you package your items! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely collection.
ReplyDeleteLove the Only Kiss quote and the tattoo (makes me want another even more). I'm also currently attempting the photo a day challenge on instagram, love it.
Haha, my sentiments exactly re: having a fancy camera does not necessarily mean you're a great photographer. I just discovered that my aunt takes breathtaking photos just from a regular point and shoot! I hope to improve my photography skills this year! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that those words to live by! And the balloon invitation is so creative!
ReplyDeleteThat balloon idea is way cool! Also, every year I make the resolution to send more snail mail and every year I fail! Terrible :( I say go for it with the tattoo, but make sure you research your artist well- I did and I have awesome tattoos :)
ReplyDeletePS I'm having a giveaway on my blog if you're keen :)
Thank you for the tip about the free fonts, just what I needed!
ReplyDeleteI too am so inspired by you! I went to one of your trunk shows for Ruche and fell in love with all your items you had :). I love your blog and your cute shop so much and you will definitely be getting some orders from me. I have had a small business and would love to start buying some of your things for packaging to use :). Thanks so much for the inspiration and ideas!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Some beautiful things in there. I agree about the camera quote, made me smile. While I have a nice new lens too, but it certainly won't make me an amazing photographer. If I had a $1 for everytime someone said "What camera do you have, I might buy one as your photos look really good" :)
ReplyDeleteAlso love the balloon idea, we used that for our wedding 'save the dates' :D Got some great feedback.
Sweet! I love the fonts and can't wait to play around with them this evening. I am also so on board with the photo-a-day challenge and I think I will finish this too! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCool looking fonts!
ReplyDeletei love finding new fonts!!
ReplyDeletethis post was full of so much greatness and exciting inspiration.
ReplyDeletethank you, my dear.
