fabulous: for a temporary downton abbey fix, i've been watching mr selfridge,
really enjoy this show and the history of London's first department store!

    Those Mr. Boddington's book editions have some of my favorite covers ever. Especially the Alice in Wonderland. Gorgeous!

    When you're finished with Mr. Selfridge you can watch The Paradise. This is on PBS and we're at episode three. This is about a different type of store around the same time frame.
